I believe after 6 pm the street parking was free. But we walked from our hotel right down the street
I thought there was a kids menu. During spring break there were many families in there eating. Their menu is on line I believe.
Spotted Donkey's food is very good and in price.
At the restaurant.
Great service and very reasonably priced. Also right next to our hotel so very convenient. Had the baja tacos which were good. The guacamole was fresh and tasty. They are known for their specialty tequilas so if you’re into that recommend you go and try some of them out you won’t regret it. Tampa food for the win!
Pleasantly surprised. The restaurant wasn't your normal run of the mill Mexican food. The chefs take a high end approach to Latino food. The sauces were incredible and unlike anything I've had before. The restaurant was a bit on the noisy side due to its narrowness, but I was okay with that. Our meal for 2 and a half was around $70. That is on the upper side of our date night budget. Would recommend to others. Wife had the salmon and I had the chimichanga (if I am spelling that correctly), both were excellent and both were large portions. Six thumbs up!
We came in to escape from the rain and had some good drinks and this spicy appetizer. The service was pretty good, our server Kory was very attentive and everything came out quickly. Oh, and free chips and salsa!
The food here is some of the best on the beach. It is not as touristy as most of the places. You get your standard Tex-next food here at a slightly higher price. The atmosphere is nice and the food tastes great. Service is decent and you are right near the beach and Pier 60.
Great Mexican place! Highly recommend checking this place out. Our food was fresh and delicious and the specialty drinks were A+. Their bean like dip salsa they serve with chips for the table was a nice change from the traditional chips and salsa usually served at a Mexican restaurant. We really enjoyed our dinner!
Food was delicious, service was very slow , would try it again.
We had the fajitas and they were quite tasty. The white sangria was ok. All in all a nice place to go for mexican if you find yourself on Clearwater Beach's north end.
I love the food! This place is amazing! They weren't lying when I asked the severs when I first walked in the door is this place better than the place called The Beachcomber here in Clearwater. I ate the waffle fries faster than you can imagine ahahaha! They got my money!
What an awesome place to eat. Pier 60 is a wonderful area and The Spotted Donkey is a great place for Mexican food and drinks! Sierra was a fantastic host for our dinner!
Great selection and Delicious food! Service was excellent. Appealing decor inside and out.
I have walked past this beautiful Cantina too many times to count. Was thirsty for a margarita this particular day and not the kind that is premade with cheap sour mix. This was a fantastic choice for high end margaritas. Matt was our server/bartender. Matt was knowledgeable with both the food and drink menu. I was delighted to learn almost all dishes are Gluten Free. I can not wait to return for lunch or dinner and try more from the menu.
The food was hot and came to our table very quickly. The wait staff was very friendly and tentative. Comfortable atmosphere and great meal.
Great place to eat. Man who was hosting the night of June 24th I believe name was Matt was awesome and made our day. Thank you guys
Fantastic spot to rest and people watch! Great service, selection of small plates and of course an enticing variety of adult beverages.
Rats outside right by the patio tables 2 hours to get the food with only about 10 tables. Avoid at all costs. Used to be good. Will be calling health inspector
Very excellent service, food is delicious. Definitely would come back.
Very Covid conscious, a rarity on the strip here. I like that. Food was delish. Hard to believe a Hispanic restaurant ran out of salsa at dinner time.
Pros:Location is great. On the main drag.Outdoor seating is pleasant in the winter time.Large indoor seating options, decent sized bar.Cons:Salsa is some weird bean concoction.Fish tacos were not very good :-(
I typed out a rant but it was too mean so I had to delete some of it:This place has to self review. I mean the five stars absolutely do not make sense. I have never written a review before but I HAD to to spare you all. This place has no business being called a Mexican restaurant. The worst food I have ever had. I mean I want to cry at how much money we dropped. Our food took so long to come out we considered cancelling it but changed out minds. so many regrets... should've known when they served us the salsa 😩Only nice thing: our waiter was pleasant. Lord, forgive him, for he know not what he does
Super fresh flavors. Great atmosphere. We will definitely return when coming to Clearwater!
Much love for this establishment. All of the servers and restaurant staff made me feel completely at ease to be out again, changing their gloves just so much, with everyone wearing masks you can tell they're on it. The food was great, paired amazingly with their special marg they make! My waitress definitely made the right recommendations. Definitely a must try if your in the area.
We came here for dinner on 14th august. Host was mean and did not treat us well but the server Dawn covered up. She is very polite and served us very well. Over all experience went well because of server. Food is good .. ambience 5 star but just staff should be more friendly!!!!
Stopped by for lunch. Head the chicken street enchiladas. The enchiladas themselves were smaller than I expected but very good. Well seasoned meat and two tasty sauces. Everything else, however, was bland. The rice wasn't worth the calories and the beans just tasted like a ham hock.
Drinks was awesome but wasn't a full serving of meat and it was dry but customer service was great
My fiancé and I got the Cantina burrito and it was very good as well as the Coco Moe drink. The server Sam was very attentive to us and the manager came over to us twice during our visit to make sure everything was okay. Great service, great food. I will definitely be going back when I’m town.
Good food, great service. The restaurant manager Sean is an upstanding guy who made the experience fantastic. Everyone was friendly from the moment we walked in. I look forward to eating here again soon.
Fantastic welcoming salsa... had to keep asking for more! Coco moe drink was phenomenal. Gina I beleive server. Would go back
Service was excellent! Food well priced and large portions- our margaritas were fabulous!
The restaurant was overpriced, portions were extremely small, paper plates and plastic utensils are ridiculous... And two margaritas in plastic cups $12.50 each 🤦🏻♀️ it was definitely not a good experience at all.... Will not be returning...
Excellent- The food was great. The pricing was reasonable. The service was great. Went back several times. Definitely recommend thus place.
Amazing nachos are a great price! Great staff too. We will be back again.
Overpriced untraditional "mexican" food. Do not reccomend if you know how mexican food is suppose to taste like. The only good thing were the drinks.
